Portfolio
The projects below show the range of work we take on. Each one started with an inspection and a written estimate, and each one went home stronger, cleaner and better protected than when it arrived.
Polishing
Coffee table and shelving cut back, colour-corrected and refinished in a satin PU for daily use.
Reupholstery
Frame tightened, new springs and foam, and a full velvet cover with plump, shaped cushions.
Repair & upholstery
Loose arm joints rebuilt, seat re-padded and frame refinished in a deep walnut tone.
Reupholstery
Faded cover replaced with a bright woven fabric, with legs stripped and oiled.
Leather care
Leather sides cleaned, recoloured and conditioned, with new seat padding and cover.
Restoration
Torn cane panels replaced, doors re-hung and the frame refinished with a natural oil.
Case study
The frame of this sofa was solid hardwood, but years of use had broken the webbing and flattened every cushion. Replacing it with a comparable new sofa would have cost far more.
